Quinoa origins from Andes mountain area in South America,is the main traditional cereal of the aboriginal, is recognized as Mother of all grains because of its rich and comprehensive nutrition value.

Quinoa is rich in protein, the content of unsaturated fatty acid in it up to 83%. Nutrition Facts of Quinoa

 

A.  Protein: Quinoa is alkaline food rich in protein, it is very rate that quinoa as a grain contains whole protein, which is normally found on animal. The content of protein is very high, range from 16-22%, our Plateau White Quinoa up to 21%, even equals to beef, which is 20%, and more than milk, which is 16%. Common grain content of protein is around 10%, but quinoa content is even twice of rice, wheat and millet.  
 

B.  Amino Acid: Quinoa contains the essential amino acid by human body, the content of lysine is especially very high,which is not contained by grain, and is good for human body repair and growth.

Dietary Fiber Dietary fibre content of Quinoa is nearly twice of oat & brown rice , up to 7%, more than oat content, which is know as high dietary fiber content.
